Braidless after Six Weeks

The length of time a lady can wear extension really depends on that client. Angie happens to be one GoesheGirl who takes hair serious. Her routine includes securing her previous extensions at night with a silk or satin bonnet. In this photo, Angie has just received a shampoo service on a braidless that was installed six weeks ago. Some clients may experience losing the wrap at night so for further help, I suggest using a cotton scarf or wrap on top of the silk/satin bonnet. Removing your Extensions!

A lot of women try to remove their extensions on their own, and this can result in damage if this process isn't carefully done. 75% of breakage with extensions come from improper removal. But I learned a little trick along the way that really helps take out the extensions with some ease. By using a seam ripper, a person can reduce the work time to almost half. This method saves you from the open and close motion of shears. I know I don't have to say this but don't use your expensive shears for thread or to cut the weft. I've even used a razor blade before! It's a little risky and takes your undivided attention but removes the extensions quickly. I don't suggest the razor if you're having a really busy day in the salon.
